IQSA Annual Meeting Reminders
It’s hard to believe that we are just two months away from the seventh Annual Meeting of the International Qur’anic Studies Association taking place in San Diego, CA from November 22-25, 2019. We are looking forward to another exciting meeting of scholars and friends! Please read the reminders below carefully in preparation for November’s events.
- IQSA sessions begin one day earlier than in previous years on Friday November 22nd. Please book your travel and accommodation plans accordingly. The full schedule is available online, and print programs will be distributed at the meeting.
- All are welcome to RSVP to the General Reception following the IQSA Presidential Address (6pm, 23B [Upper Level East] – Convention Center) on Friday, November 22 from 7-9pm. Light refreshments will be provided, and location will be sent to all registered participants in the upcoming weeks.
- On Saturday November 23rd, graduate students and early career scholars should attend the Graduate Student Luncheon from 11:30am-1:00pm, where they will enjoy lunch with leading scholars in the field and share their own research. You must be an active IQSA student member to register for this event.
- On Sunday November 24, all IQSA members are invited to attend the General Business Meeting from 11:00 –11:45am in room 23B (Upper Level East) of the Convention Center.
