2017 International Meeting Tunisia

IQSA will hold its second biennial International Qurʾan Conference in collaboration with Beit al-Hikma (The Tunisian Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts) and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Carthage, Tunisia in just ONE month from July 4-6, 2017. This meeting is convened by Pr. Abdelmajid Charfi and Pr. Mokdad Arfa (for Beit al Hikma) and by Pr. Mehdi Azaiez (for IQSA).   2. Methods and Tools (Presuppositions, Applications and Purposes)

Opportunities to present at the conference are at this time closed, but observers are encouraged to attend the sessions at their convenience. The International Qur’anic Studies Association is dedicated to fostering Qurʾanic scholarship. As a learned society, IQSA: assists scholars of the Qurʾan to form contacts and develop fruitful professional and personal relationships; sponsors rigorous academic scholarship on the Qurʾan through its lectures, journal articles, book reviews, monograph series, and online resources; builds bridges between scholars around the world. After successfully holding its 2015 International Meeting in UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, IQSA is proud to hold its 2017 International Meeting at Beït Al-Hikma, Carthage, Tunisia. This partnership is extremely valuable to us, as IQSA’s goal is to build bridges between scholars around the world.

As a learned society, IQSA is shaped by the contributions and insights of its members. We are eager to draw together a diverse community of students and scholars of the Qurʾan and look forward to working together to promote the field of Qurʾanic Studies.
